Terms and Conditions

Please read before booking

To book and confirm availability and price, please contact us and by booking you agree to our terms and conditions which are as follows: 

Price. The price quoted is the price of the apartment per week. This covers its use by:-

Up to 4 people - St Nicolas Studio, Les Domes

Up to 5 people - St Gervais, Studio Bleu

Up to 6 people - Chalet Apartment, Le Bionnay

Up to 6 people - St Gervais Apartment, Les Loges

Up to 6 people - St Gervais Apartment, Alpen Rose

Up to 8 people - St Gervais Centre Apartment, Le Chatelain

UP to 8 people - Les Contamines, Chalet Danica

Additional cost: Electricity and tourist tax (0.90 cents per person per day) is not included with Le Bionnay. These will need to be paid at the end of your stay.

Reservation. A deposit is required at the time of booking.

£100 for Les Domes and Studio Bleu

£150 for Les Loges

£200 for Le Bionnay

£150 for Alpen Rose

£400 for Le Chatelain

£300 for Chalet Danica

Reservation will not be treated as a firm booking until the deposit has been received. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of cheque or bank transfer.

The balance must be made in full 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you are booking with less than 8 weeks to go, please pay the full amount for the apartment at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance 8 weeks prior to arrival may result in your reservation being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Cancellation. If you need to cancel your booking for any reason then you must inform us in writing. The following cancellation charges may be applied from the day we receive your written cancellation:

In the unlikely event that we should need to cancel your booking for any reason, and at any time, then a full and prompt refund will be made to you. This will be the limit of our liability to you.

Breakages security deposit. A security deposit of :

£100 for Les Domes and Studio Bleu

£200 for Le Bionnay, Alpen Rose and Les Loges

£500 for Le Chatelain

£300 for Chalet Danica

..will be exchanged for the keys upon arrival. This can be paid in cash or cheque. The damage deposit is returned to you less deductions for any loss, breakages, damage, cleaning, within 2 weeks of your departure.

Any damage you find at the property must be notified to us within 24 hours of your arrival, if not it will be assumed that you were responsible for this damage. Please report any accidental damage of the property or its contents before departure. Do not attempt to replace items yourselves. 

Keys. The key pick up point for all properties is at Le Bionnay chalet. A charge of 20 E will be made for each set of keys not returned to us complete at the end of your stay.

Checking in and out. Check out time is no later than 10am on the day of departure. Arrival times are from 4pm on the first day booked. However, it may be possible to accept different arrival/ departure times so please contact us for further information.  Please notify us of your estimated time of arrival so we can ensure we are at the chalet location to give you the keys. 

Cleaning. The property must be left in a clean state on departure. If the apartment, or its contents, require excessive cleaning after a client has left then a charge of £25 will be made for the cleaning work required. This will be deducted from the security deposit. 

No smoking is allowed inside the properties. No pets are admitted for the studios, Les Loges, L'Alpen Rose, Le Chatelain and Le Bionnay. Pets are permitted with prior consent at Chalet Danica.

Linen. Please note bed linen is not automatically provided with rentals. Please consult below. For Studio Bleu there is an option to hire linen. This is charged at 15E for 2 people and 25E for 2+ people. For Chalet Danica and Les Loges either bring your own or hire it locally.

Insurance. It is your responsibility to check that you are correctly insured for your holiday and have valid travel documents. We strongly recommend that you take out a specific travel and health policy. If you intend to participate in any sports, particularly winter sports, then ensure that your policy covers you for this and includes off-piste cover if appropriate. It is also a good idea to check if your policy covers you in the event of any damage you may cause to property, yourselves or others. 

Please note that any activity you undertake whilst staying with Mountain Refresh is done so entirely at your own risk and that Mountain Refresh cannot in any way be held responsible for you, your actions, personal injury, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever. No insurances are provided by us or the owners, other than buildings insurance for the Property.

Website accuracy. We take every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information we provide, however errors do occasionally occur or changes take place that are beyond our control. Particularly during low season, some facilities and amenities (such as ski lifts, transport services and restaurants) may not be open or available. The images and words used in the promotion of Mountain Refresh are intended to portray things as accurately as possible, however they are not a guarantee of the sights you will see or the facilities available. You should therefore check in advance any feature of particular importance to you. Additional services provided by Mountain Refresh, such as ski and snowboard guiding, are provided on a goodwill basis only and therefore their availability cannot be guaranteed.

Data Protection. In order to accept your booking we will need to store certain information about you on our database. This will not be passed on to any third party however, we may in the future use this information to keep you informed about Mountain Refresh and any promotions or offers that we make. If at any time you would prefer not to receive this information then let us know.
